Cortus Ulyss 3

Cortus ULYSS3

  • NThe Cortus ULYSS3 has been specified to answer the automotive market segment
  • NIt features four RISC-V (RV64GCHV) ISA lockstep cores running up to 1.5GHz. The lockstep CPU core is a 64-bit processor with single and double precision floating point instructions and the compact instruction set extension that significantly improves code density making best use of the up to 24MBytes of NVM ECC memory
  • NThe Cortus ULYSS3 has a rich peripheral set enabling a very wide range of applications.
  • NAddressable market examples : ADAS and autonomous drive, Gateways connecting different communication protocols, Secure key management, Sensors and Monitoring, Ultrasonic Radar
  • ADAS
  • NAdaptive Cruise Control (ACC): ACC adjusts your vehicle’s speed to maintain a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead, making highway driving more comfortable and less stressful.
  • NLane Keeping Assist (LKA): LKA helps you stay within your lane by providing steering inputs or alerts if you unintentionally drift.
  • NAutomatic Emergency Braking (AEB): AEB can detect impending collisions and automatically apply the brakes if the driver doesn’t respond in time, potentially preventing accidents.
  • NBlind Spot Monitoring (BSM): BSM uses sensors to alert you when a vehicle is in your blind spot, improving lane-change safety.
  • NParking Assistance: These systems aid in parking by providing visual and audio cues to guide the driver into a parking space.
  • AUTONOMOUS DRIVE
  • NLevel 1 and 2: These levels involve partial automation, with systems like Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist. However, the driver must remain engaged and ready to take control at any time.
  • NLevel 3: At this level, vehicles can handle most driving tasks but may require the driver to intervene when prompted. The driver can relax but must be ready to take over if necessary.
  • NLevel 4 and 5: These levels represent high automation and full automation, respectively. Vehicles at Level 4 can operate autonomously within specific conditions and environments, while Level 5 vehicles can navigate any scenario without human intervention.
